Carp Fishing Lakes
Over the past few years the sport of fishing has grown to epic proportions, now with estimated 4.5 million people week fishing. Fishing has many disciplines, from Coarse, Trout and Sea but one of the areas that have exploded is Carp fishing.
If we rewind the clock to the 1300's we will see Carp being bred initially by monks as a food source, carp became established and were stocked into estate lakes and fisheries, and once available, quickly became a target for anglers.
Today we see carp flourishing in almost every river and carp lake in the country. From small village ponds to the largest most powerful rivers and reservoirs, carp and carp fishing is dominating the sport with more lakes and fisheries opening specimen ponds to cater for the serious carp fishermen.
